Mr. Zenker focuses his practice on commercial and business litigation, and provides advice on contract, insurance, fiduciary duty, employment, and governance issues.

Mr. Zenker is a second-year associate, having worked at Hoke LLC since his graduation from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2022, from which he graduated magna cum laude. Jay has experience in policyholder insurance coverage litigation, commercial litigation, corporate governance, municipality defense, and probate matters. Mr. Zenker’s passion lies in simplifying complex ideas and creatively connecting ideas on behalf of his clients.

While at Loyola Chicago Law, Jay was a member of the Law Review, Vice President of the Environmental Law Society, and a tutor for two doctrinal classes. During law school, Mr. Zenker also served as a legal intern with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Illinois Attorney General’s Opinions Bureau. Mr. Zenker has also worked for five years in the financial community as a sales & account representative for Bloomberg LP in New York City, covering accounts in both the United States and eastern Canada. He has experience with the not-for-profit world and freelance writing, not to mention a lifetime of reading and writing about U.S. history, philosophy, and music.
