Hilarie Carhill practices labor and employment law and commercial litigation. Her legal practice is focused on representing and advising employers and businesses. She is passionate about empowering businesses and helping her clients to be successful.

Hilarie received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, where she successfully competed on and subsequently coached the Appellate Moot Court team. After law school Hilarie joined the United States Army, working as an active-duty Soldier and Judge Advocate. During her military service, Hilarie gained some experience practicing federal employment law. Since then, Hilarie has been working in private practice representing businesses of all sizes that specialize in a wide array of industries, and counseling employers regarding legal compliance and strategy. She has experience defending businesses against administrative charges at state and federal agencies, representing employers through litigation in state and federal courts, responding to union grievances and defending employers at arbitration, and guiding clients through internal and pretrial fact investigations.

Hilarie is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and Mensa.
