Prior to joining Williams, Bax & Saltzman, Ms. Coleman was a business partner in Fortune 500 companies including Johnson Controls and General Electric (GE). Ms. Coleman had extensive experience in succession planning, strategic workforce planning, training and development, collective bargaining and union campaigns. Ms. Coleman has represented and advised businesses on FMLA, ADA, COVID-19 workplace guidelines, discrimination, wrongful discharge claims, company policies, union relations and other labor and employment law matters. Ms. Coleman has also provided pro bono assistance on trust and probate cases.
Ms. Coleman is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. She is admitted to the federal court in the Northern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Ms. Coleman is a graduate of Tennessee State University (B.S., Mechanical Engineering), Loyola University Chicago Graduate School (M.S., Industrial & Labor Relations), and Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D.). Ms. Coleman is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
